Mommy Boot Camp Classes

Training Wheels is a 45 minute low impact workout for moms looking to get back into a fitness routine after having a baby.  This class is open to all fitness levels.  Whether your goal is to lose the weight from your pregnancy, tone up or increase your energy, Training Wheels will help you get there!  Get a great workout in while interacting with your baby and making new friends.  Please be sure to bring a towel, mat and water!  You can come with your baby or solo!


Training Wheels takes place at the Fort Hamilton High School Field in Bay Ridge (Colonial Rd and 85th Street).  During rainy days and winter weather, classes will be held at the Brooklyn Dance Center (5th Avenue between 91st and 92nd Streets).  We meet on Saturdays at 8:30AM.

Frquently Asked Questions 

Q: How long do I have to wait before working out?
A: The average is 6 - 8 weeks postpartum.  If you've had a C-Section it can be up to 12 weeks.  Please have clearance from your doctor prior to participating in Training Wheels.

Q: What do I need to bring to the class?
A: Besides baby and stroller, please bring water, towel and a mat.

Q: Can I bring two kids if they are in a double stroller?
A: Yes, absolutely!

Q: Do I always have to come with my baby and stroller?
A: Not at all!  We understand that there are times when your baby is teething or has a fever, etc.  If you have someone to watch your child at home while you get your workout done, then do so!  You can use 5 lb weights as a replacement of your stroller.

Q: Do I need to reserve my spot in advance?
A: It's highly recommended that you reserve a spot in advance.  You can purchase a single session or package in order to do so. Once a purchase is made, you can simply send an email to fitmomcoachk@gmail.com with the class date/ time you will be attending.

Q: Do I have to use a jogging stroller?
A: No, any stroller will work. If you have a jogging stroller, great!

Q: Do you have a cancellation policy?
A: Yes, we have a 12 hour cancellation policy.  We do our best to be as flexible and accommodating as possible and we ask that you notify us 6 hours or more via email.  Abiding by the 12 hour cancellation policy, the session will remain valid.
